Our Crew, Captain Bill and Captain Kathi,
and Captain Kurt are ready to give you a memorable, fun fishing trip. They will go all out to find and get you fish! Captain Bill and Captain Kathi will give you helpful tips and assist you. You will also have fun, adventure and great catches fishing with Capt. Kurt Smith. Your safety and fun is our focus.
You will see the beautiful Oregon coastline fishing near-shore in 60' to 200' of water. Your fishing trip will take you over kelp pads, reefs, and pinnacles which hold a rich habitat for the wide varieties of bottom fish and rock fish you will catch! Frequently caught fish are: blue rock fish, black rock fish, cabazone, quill back, tiger rock, vermilon, china rock fish, and ling cod.
You can catch up to 7 rock fish plus 2 ling cod per person! Limits are consistently caught, so your fresh catch will provide a mouth watering fish feed! Nothing can beat the taste and flavor of fresh Oregon ocean caught fish!

Whale watching season is from March through April for us. If you want to go then give us a call right away. Are you wondering what's up when there aren't whales to watch then there's more!
We are now offering nature eco tours. There is a minimum of 6 passengers to book a nature cruise. We tour our harbor, the Cape Arago Light house, and our beautiful bay and coast line. Here you would view maritime industry at work as well as birds and mammals of the pacific ocean near shore area. The cost is $40 per person for a two hour cruise. Two hour whale watching trips - $40.00 each for adults and for children and young adults. Children 3 years and under are free.
